Getting Around Alexandria

Free King Street Trolley

The King Street Trolley runs every 10-15 minutes between Union Street and the King St-Old Town Metrorail station during the following schedule: Sunday-Wednesday: 11:00 a.m.–10:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday: 10:30 a.m.–12 a.m.

Metrorail & Bus

The Alexandria Metro Stations have been closed for the summer due to WMATA construction.  

Metrorail (operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority) is a piece of public transportation that can take you from Alexandria to downtown Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. The King St-Old Town Metrorail station is located on King Street, Alexandria's main street for shopping, dining, and the arts. Both Yellow Line and Blue Line trains stop at the King St-Old Town station.

There is complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to the Pentagon City and King Street Metro stations.  The shuttles run on the hour.
